The Slingshot 2021 SCI-FLY’s, our progressive free ride short board, is built with XR Construction, an evolution of our popular hybrid EPS construction. With bamboo and carbon reinforcements, XR Construction produces the perfect blend of weight and strength, providing you the highest performance true surfboard feel to handle all the rigors of kiteboarding. The SCI-FLY XR’s truncated nose design significantly reduces swing weight and provides a central control point on the board, making airs, spins and skate-style tricks easier than any other board. The parallel rail outline reduces drag and increases water speed to get more drive and pop without effecting stability or landing comfort. It is progressive and extremely modern winged diamond tail gives the utmost control and drive as well as a smooth and clean release off the water when performing boosts and aerial tricks.

The MITU PRO CARBON takes advantage of an improved rocker line where the single concave is combined with a smooth and rounded kick accelerating towards the tail. This new tail rocker provides a more intuitive entry in the turns and a better hold when putting the board on the rail. The end result is an improved feeling when riding the waves, getting as close as ever to a natural surfing feel.

Combined with thin rails towards the rear, the fishtail offers the best combination between planing, stability, turning and pop.

The MITU PRO BAMBOO is available in 5 sizes from 5’2 to 5’10 and takes advantage of our full bamboo construction to offer the fantastic Mitu shape in a simple package using the excellent properties of natural bamboo for a light, responsive and durable board. 

With the compact outline, the single deep concave remains the DNA of the MITU PRO MODEL, it is this unique shape that helps the board get on the plane early, accelerate in an instant and give directional stability. 

Comfort has been improved by a double concave in the front section making your ride smoother than ever. Travelling along the bottom of the board, the concave fades progressively towards the back where an increased kick in the tail rocker helps make the turns tight and effortless.

Combined with thin rails towards the rear, the fishtail offers the best combination between planing, stability, turning and pop. 

This unique mix of planing, stability and manoeuvrability is what makes the MITU PRO MODELS so unique and versatile.

Mount any foil with a top plate on the next day and cruise around the bay on a foil. In addition to the standard inline inserts, the MITU PRO BAMBOO FOIL also features some deck inserts in the ideal location for a V dual strap setup at the front to get the most out of your foiling.

The board has a straighter rocker and a parallel outline, which fades into a dynamic winger tail to increase its turning speed The squared off nose keeps the length to a minimum, and there are three sizes for you to choose from. The 5’3” is perfect for larger riders over 75kg who would usually ride a board around 5’8” while the smaller 5’1” is ideal for smaller riders. We have this year added a 5’5’’ for the riders over 85 kgs or those looking for more stability.

Freestyle is a lot about control, pop and landing. The volume and the thickness of the SLICE have been specifically tailored for kiting to ensure the highest possible level of performance. Underneath, you’ll find a single concave with central channel which has been extended and now runs along the entire length for more directional stability.

We’ve kept the rails of the board thin to allow you to hold a better edge and also to increase the pop, making freestyle tricks easier. The distinct kick in the rocker line around the fins has been worked on to get more pop out of the board. The nose is pulled up slightly to help nailing the landings while the long channel provides the stability required.

The board delivers plenty of speed, both on flat water, for tricks, and in the waves too. The flatter rocker line enables the board to carry itself through weaker sections of the wave. The thin rails and pulled in winger tail make for dynamic turns on the face. The thruster fin set up offers maximum versatility across a wide range of conditions, while also making the board easier to use.

PROGRAM

For strapless freestyle riding, the compact dimensions make it very easy to maneuver the board in the air and swing weight is reduced. Even performing simple jumps is made easier, with a wide stance pop comes easy and the light nature of the board will help you improve incredibly quickly.

The SLICE is best suited to small and medium sized waves and excels when the conditions are onshore and the waves aren’t too powerful. The increased speed offered by the board allows you to negotiate the wave without relying on its power as much.

The SLICE will switch your level to “fast forward” mode!

CONSTRUCTION

The SLICE BAMBOO FOIL features twin tracks on the bottom to fit any foil using a 4-bolt plate. The length of the tracks allows to adjust the foil position depending on its design to achieve perfect balance.

On deck, the inline strap inserts are complemented by two extra inserts for a front foot V-strap configuration which is much more user friendly when foiling.

Whether you like sending strapless tricks, surfing waves or foiling around the bay, you can do it all with the SLICE BAMBOO FOIL.

The reduced thickness brings improved control and an innovative flex to provide a lot more comfort and precision while riding and when landing, even in the harshest conditions.
